Here’s your quick and easy guide to creating a schedule template that works for you—and your team.
Step 1: Log In and Head to Settings
Start by logging into your Axial Shift account. Once you're in, hover over Settings—you’ll find it in the top menu bar.
Step 2: Add a New Template
Click on Templates. In the upper right-hand corner, you’ll spot a green plus sign (+)
Step 3: Name It and Forecast It
Give your template a name. Then, enter your Sales Forecast Amount. Once you're done, hit Create.
Step 4: Choose Your View
You’ve got options!
- Want to schedule by individual staff members? Choose Employee View.
- Prefer to assign shifts based on roles? Select Job View.
Pick the layout that best matches your scheduling style.
Step 5: Edit and Save on the Fly
As you build out your template, your changes are saved automatically. That means no worries about losing your work—Axial Shift’s got your back in real time.
Step 6: Put Your Template to Work
Once your template looks good, head over to your scheduler and start using your freshly made template to simplify your weekly planning.
