Although you can approve or deny time off requests from within the mobile application, you can follow these straightforward steps to enter in, as well as approve or deny pending, time off requests for your team members.
1. Hover over Labor: Head to the Labor section on the web platform.
2. Click on Team Members: Locate and click on the "Team Members" option in order to pull up the list of everyone in your store.
3. Filter by Name: Use the handy filter section to narrow down your search. Type in the name of the team member whose time off request needs your attention, or for whom you need to enter in a time off request.
4. Open their Profile: Once you've identified the right team member, click on their tile to open up their profile.
5. Edit Mode: Locate the edit button in the top, right corner and select it in order to bring up the team member's profile.
6. Navigate to Time Off: Scroll down within the profile until you find the Time Off section (near the bottom).
7. Edit or Add Time Off Requests: For editing (approving or denying) an existing time off request, you'll click on the pen and paper icon on the desired date. This opens up the specific time off details/request:
Or, if you wish to add a new time off request, you'll click the green plus button located right below the Time Off Requests title/section:
8. Reviewing/Entering the Time Off Request: For an existing time off request, you'll choose whether to approve or deny the time-off request under the Manager Approved section, and you'll click Save once you've made your selection:
9. Save Changes: You're almost done! After clicking Save within the time off modal itself, you then must navigate to the top of the employee profile and select Save once more.
